I've never been into fake baking or self tanning creams but when I noticed my little sister's natural-looking glow, I had to ask. It's the time of year to get some color, with the transition from cold to warm, from sweaters to tank tops and long pants to short shorts. I decided that trying this affordable lotion would be a useful story for Be Hollywood Fit. I followed the exact directions and used the lotion everyday for exactly two weeks. I noticed major results in just two days. I looked tan(not orange) almost instantly and wore shorts for days just to show off my glowing legs. I also noticed the firming effects immediately on my inner thighs and tummy. To keep my face matching the rest of me, I applied just a touch of organic bronzer to my cheeks. My boyfriend was even fooled, he has no idea I've been using the lotion and thinks that my instant tan is natural. I give this product two thumbs up and will continue to use it throughout the summer.

In case you didn't read this week's OK! magazine, I uncovered Jennifer Aniston's Slimming Secrets from the issue:

HER FITNESS:

  • Hatha Yoga: "Yoga has meant my legs got leaner. My arms got stronger. I may have grown half an inch from aligning my spine,". Jen has raved.
  • Cardio: Before her yoga sessions she likes to get her heart rate up with at least 22 minutes of cardio. "It helps me warm up my muscles for the poses" she says.  Her favorite cardio workouts include interval training on the treadmill, paddle surfing, lifting 8-pound weights, running and Budokon (a combination of martial arts, power yoga and meditation).

HER BODY IMAGE:

  • Self Acceptance: Jen has learned to not worry so much about what others things. "You're damned if you're too thin and you're damned if you're too heavy. It's impossible to satisfy everyone... It just feels good to be healthy, and with that comes physical exercise and keeping yourself in shape." She said.

HER DIET:

  • The Zone Diet: She loosely follows the Zone Diet, under which each portion consists of 40 percent carbs (think fiber rich veggies), 30 percent lean proteins and 40 percent monounsaturated fats. Her diet staples include lots of salmon, fresh fruit and steak.
  • Cheating: Jen refuses to give up margaritas, cold beer, martinis and Mexican food. "Always, always cheat." she says, "You have to. A must. At least twice a week."

BEAUTY:

  • Skin: She uses Neutrogena bar soap and Dr. Hauscka products on her face. She loves holistic face creams, powder and masks. According to Jen the simplest key to great skin is to drink lots of water. "I drink lots of water -water, water, water." she says.

Recently I was in the market for a cruelty free, paraben-free skin care system that actually works well for my skin type. I've used several of these products in the past but none of them truly did wonders for my skin type. I have oily combination skin and am prone to break outs during that certain time of month which is totally annoying as some of you can relate. I typically shop for natural beauty products at Whole Foods Market because they have such a huge selection of top notch products. There I found the Alba Advanced skincare line which is priced amazingly affordable for it's quality. I purchased the Sea Mineral Cleansing Gel ($10) a hypoallergenic face wash, which turned out to be a perfect match for my skin type. I especially love how this product is gentle enough for my sensitive skin, yet effective enough to wash makeup off without leaving residue behind. Along with the Sea Mineral Cleansing Gel I purchased the  Sea Kelp Facial Toner ($10) and the Deep Sea Facial Mask ($10). For the past month I've been  using the toner twice each day after cleansing and the mask only once a week and I haven't had a single breakout since. I am looking forward to purchasing more of the Alba Advanced products and highly recommend them to people with a similar skin type. They're affordable, paraben-free, hypoallergenic and they do not test on animals, now that sounds like a winner to me!

Doctors are now using new tools for fat loss. Although it sounds too good to be true, Accent RF uses non-surgical, non-invasive treatment for body contouring, skin tightening, cellulite reduction and fat removal.

Although this may sound like an effortless approach to having the body of your dreams, Accent RF would be ideal for someone who has failed to reduced areas of unwanted fat with diet and exercise. It's typically done as an office procedure and each session takes about 30 minutes. Accent RF is not a one time shot, because you will need 3-6 treatments per area.

Using two types of radio frequency technologies (UniPolar and BiPolar), the system creates an intense heat in the layer just beneath the skin with out burning the skin. The heat beneath the skin is the optimal temperature for breakdown and removal of unwanted fat and skin tightening.

Here is an example of an actual Accent RF patient:

It's truly incredible that they could make so much improvement without surgery. Do you think models and celebrities use Accent RF to improve their appearances?

Both allure and Elle magazines rave that Ina Crystals are well worth their luxury price tag. With just one 30 minute soak in your home bathtub you're looking at $85, which isn't so bad considering comparable in-spa treatments.

What makes Ina Crystals so special? This deep penetrating detox bath contains minerals small enough to penetrate the cells and be absorbed to help the body expel internal toxins accumulated over time through pollutants in the air, alcohol and processed foods. The White Gold Crystal and the detoxifying essential oils of basil, fennel and juniper cleanse deeply whilst improving the sense of well-being.
