Gossip Girl star Leighton Meester swears by "a week of really great cardio" to flatten her stomach.

How much cardio should you do? An hour a day can make a difference, says Ashley Borden, an L.A.-based celebrity trainer.

Do you think an hour of cardio for a week sounds overwhelming?

Who wouldn't love to have Gwyneth's gorgeous body? If you're willing to workout for three hours daily, you've got a shot.

"I think she works out three hours a day - which is one of the keys to success," chef Mario Batali told Usmagazine.com at the opening of the Uncle Ben's Kids Café in Carson, California, on Wednesday

"If we all did that, we’d all look like Gwyneth Paltrow," he said. "Or at least closer."

He added that the Iron Man actress, 35, "loves to eat ... and, you know, she never puts on a pound!"

Paltrow and Batali are teaming up for their upcoming PBS documentary Spain ...On the Road Again, airing this fall.

"We had an amazing time — we saw everything!" he said.

"Predominately," he added, the show's "about understanding Spain from the perspective of a casual traveler. It’s very much like a road trip, we just drove into a place, figured out what was going on and tried to get a hold of it." SOURCE

Most people think they need a gym membership to stay in shape, but I know otherwise. Why exercise in a stuffy gym during the warmer months? Instead take advantage of the beautiful weather by exercising outdoors like singer Alicia Keys.

"I like to do outdoorsy things," she says. "Hikes, trails, running, swimming. I love the sun. I'm all about the warmth," She told People.

Need ideas?

  • Go for a power walk or jog around the neighborhood.
  • Swim laps.
  • Play jumprope or hoolahoop with the kids.
  • Bring your yoga mat outside to practice your favorite poses in the sun.
  • Take a nature hike.
  • Bring your free weights outside for a session of lunges and squats.
  • Ride your bike instead of driving to local errands like the post office or starbucks.

As promised I'm here to share the much anticipated details of how Christina Aguilera got her body back. In just four months, the 5-foot-2 star shed almost all the 40 pounds she gained with son Max. This is
how she did it:

HER GOAL: Her goal was to get back into her favorite pair of extra-small jeans from Hysteric Glamour.

HER WORKOUT: She had rigorous 90-minute workouts with her trainer 5 days a week. For cardio she does 40 minutes of intervals on either the treadmill or elliptical. She also does 40 minutes of strength training, like bicep curls, chest presses, pushups and lunges (three sets of 8-12 reps). She finishes up with 300 different ab exercies such as crunches and 10 minutes of stretching.

HER DIET: She started watching her carbs and startches and switched from white bread to wheat bread.

Breakfast- Scrambled eggs, a whole-wheat English muffin with PB&J
Snack- Fruit
Lunch- Tuna sandwhich on whole-what bread
Snack- Cheddar or string cheese
Dinner- Chicken or fish with a large salad

“Oh my god, candy! I had a huge craving for candy toward the end of the pregnancy, from Starbursts to Skittles. I actually took a picture of myself with my big belly in a little lingerie top, surrounded by bowls of the candy I like.”- Aguilera openly admits to how she gained the extra lbs.

Now you can find out how she got her pre-baby body back in latest issue of Us Weekly.  Christina Aguilera — who welcomed son Max in January — shares the diet and workout secrets behind her 40 pounds weight loss (see more post-baby bods here).

When I get the issue I'll share the details!!!
