I never thought the day would come when the plus sized girl would actually win it all. Whitney Thompson catwalked her way to becoming America’s Next Top Model’s first full-figured winner on Wednesday’s episode. I'm wondering if they did it solely based on talent or if there's some truth to the rumor that they had her win for publicity. Either way, I think it sends a great message to young girls; a good personality, a healthy body image, and self-confidence is far more important that fitting into a size 0. In fact the past few days I've heard the phrase "SKINNY IS OUT" several times. Do you think this is true?

I am so in love with the healthy "foodtees" by DietDetetctive. Each tee includes a picture of a food item and a witty healthful remark below. I love them all so much that I can't even decide which one I'm going to buy for myself. I really like the "tree pose" because I'm obsessed with yoga and broccoli. There's even a tee for those of us who need to be reminded to stay away from sweets; a half eaten donut saying "think before you eat".  All designs are available in sizes for men, women, toddlers and babies.  They're also on yoga bags, aprons and totes!

I posted about FitFlops on March 25th and that very same week I bought a pair for myself. I'll admit, I was a little skeptical at first because $50 for a pair of plain black flip flops seems pricey. I'm happy to announce that my purchase was worth every penny. First of all they're extremely comfortable to the point where I've actually worn them on a 2 mile walk with my dog. Any other time I've ever worn flip flops on a walk, I ended up with blisters and soar ankles. After walking two miles with FitFlops the only thing burning was my butt and thighs, in a good way. I have been wearing them everywhere and sometimes instead of other higher priced designer sandals. I'm petite, so anything comfortable with height is a winner. I can't promise that wearing FitFlops will give you perfect legs. I wear them in addition to regular exercise, but I defiantly feel the burn! They're the perfect shoe for running errands and shopping!

You can buy FitFlops at the BE FIT STORE Powered by Amazon.com!

The model turned designer is bringing her fabulous lifestyle to teens! Kimora Lee Simmons has teamed up with JCPenney to design an exclusive fashion sportswear line for Juniors called Fabulosity. Kimora’s newest line–she already has the widely successful Baby Phat line–is inspired by her own glamorous lifestyle and embodies confidence, beauty and fashion sense all at an affordable price. “I can’t wait to bring Fabulosity to the JCPenney Juniors customer! Young teen girls are fabulous and my new collection will further build their confidence as they head back-to-school,” says Kimora. Fabulosity will hit JCPenny stores and Jcpenny.com in July– in time for back-to-school shopping. SOURCE

I'm excited to see how Kimora's affordable sportswear line will turn out. I promise to let you know when the apparel officially debuts.
