Yesterday I tried this healthy beverage called Cell-nique and loved it. The drink is defiantly on the pricey side, then again so are those soy green tea lattes from Starbucks that I love so much. However, they're much more beneficial to my health than anything I could possibly order from Starbucks. In fact they have many of the same benefits as drinking kombucha tea, without the vinegar taste and occasional mouthful of live organisms. Each bottle of Cell-nique contain 31 superfoods and botanical herbs which help to energize, cleanse and alkalinize your body. On top of all the benefits, it's pretty tasty and worth trying.

CELL-NIQUE SUPPORTS AND PROMOTES:

  • DNA Cell Integrity
  • Alkalinity, Hydration
  • Digestion, Assimilation, Elimination
  • Cellular Anti-Oxidation
  • Cellular Detoxification
  • Anti-Wrinkle, Aging
  • Brain Memory Function
  • Healthy Hair, Skin, Nails
  • Optimum Organ Function
  • Immune System Booster
  • Increased Energy

Now I'll be honest with you, I bought this tea solely based on it's name, get gorgeous. I'm officially addicted to the Befine Warming Clay Mask. It all started when I found the 1 serving size packets at Rite Aid for $2 and decided to give it a shot. Now the full size 3.4 FL.OZ product ($16) will forever have a place in my bathroom closet. All Befine products are paraben free and not tested on animals, which are my two main requirements when choose beauty products.

The mask is unlike any other. It has a sticky texture that gently warms while your spread it over your skin. Washing the mask off isn't the easiest task, but it's well worth the extra work. I'd suggest using a warm water and a wash cloth. After washing the mask off, I tone and moisturize as normal and my face glows for the entire day. It's the perfect detox for the morning after a late night!

I've never been into fake baking or self tanning creams but when I noticed my little sister's natural-looking glow, I had to ask. It's the time of year to get some color, with the transition from cold to warm, from sweaters to tank tops and long pants to short shorts. I decided that trying this affordable lotion would be a useful story for Be Hollywood Fit. I followed the exact directions and used the lotion everyday for exactly two weeks. I noticed major results in just two days. I looked tan(not orange) almost instantly and wore shorts for days just to show off my glowing legs. I also noticed the firming effects immediately on my inner thighs and tummy. To keep my face matching the rest of me, I applied just a touch of organic bronzer to my cheeks. My boyfriend was even fooled, he has no idea I've been using the lotion and thinks that my instant tan is natural. I give this product two thumbs up and will continue to use it throughout the summer.

Who would have thought that the best source of Vitamin D could possibly be free? Yes you heard right, it's free. In fact you can pick up your daily nutrition prescription in the comfort of your own back yard or the park or pretty much anywhere the sun is shining. I got my Vitamin D and an awesome workout during a powerful yoga session on my back patio. How do you plan to absorb your D?

The importance of vitamin D:

  • Keeps bones and teeth healthy
  • Helps the body absorb calcium
  • Boosts the immune system
  • Helps regulate blood sugar levels
  • Helps to prevent high blood pressure

Getting Vitamin D from the sun:

  • UBV rays in sunlight make the skin produce vitamin D.
  • Just 20 minutes of sun exposure will produce your daily requirements of the vitamin.
  • You don't have to be sun bathing, but just exposing your face, arms, and legs is enough.
  • Sunscreen will block your skin from producing vitamin d, so rub on after 15 minutes of sun exposure
  • Fair skinned people need less time in the sun to absorb vitamin D.
  • You can't over dose on vitamin D because your body only produces as much as it needs.
  • People over 50 should rely more on food sources for vitamin D.

Good Food Sources For Vitamin D:

  • Fatty Fish and fish oils
  • Fortified cow's milk ( each 8 oz serving contains about 25% of your daily needs)
  • Soy milk
  • Rice milk
  • Cereals
  • Nutrition bars
