At her current physical state you wouldn't believe that the 35 year old Spice Girl could possibly be a mother of two. In fact she didn't waste anytime getting her figure back after giving birth last April; days later she began working it on the hit show Dancing With The Stars. Although dancing helped Mel to shed some lbs her trainer reveals that getting her body back required a variety of workouts and carefully planned meals.

 Mel B's trainer Joey Kormier shares the details with Fubulous Mag:

DANCING:
With all the dancing on The Spice Girls tour and Dancing With The Stars, the inches literally fell off Mel. So why not join a local salsa or belly-dancing class for a fun and sociable way to get a super-toned body?

KICKBOXING:
Trainer Joey gets Mel to build up a sweat with kickboxing sessions. This cross between martial arts and western-style boxing is perfect for general fitness and stamina.

YOGA:
For a more relaxed approach to toning your body and soothing your soul, do as The Spice Girl does and take part in a bit of stress-lowering yoga.

SLENDERTONE FLEX BOTTOM AND THIGH TONING SYSTEM:
This is  quick and easy fix to getting Mel's firm and toned muscles. You can tone up while relaxing and think about what bikini to wear.

STOMACH CRUNCHES:
Get killer abs like Mel's with this basic tummy exercise - you can do them in your bedroom.

30/40/30:
According to Mel's trainer, her diet was planned around the idea that 30 per cent of what she ate was protein, such as chicken or fish, 40 per cent was wholewheat or vegetables and 30 per cent of it was monosaturated fat, such as mackerel or salmon. This will help burn carbs quickly and uses fat cells to provide energy, helping you lose weight.

WEIGHTS:
Get yourself a pair of dumb-bells for a sure way to lose fat, while sculpting your body so it's tight, toned and ready for the beach.

WALKING:
Mel may have been hiking up in the Hollywood hills but walking to work is just as beneficial, and it's free! A pedometer is a great motivational tool - it counts your steps and the number of calories you burn too.

PROTEIN SHAKES:
Kick start your day like Mel with a protein shake. It's the building block of muscle, helps you lose weight and tones your body. They can taste great too - just like a normal milk shake.

POWER PLATE:
This exercise machine reduces a full body workout to just 15 minutes and with three sessions a week, you'll be well on your way to losing those pounds and getting a bikini body.
