The country singer told the March issue of Fitness magazine of her newly adopted healthy lifestyle. She says that being on the tour bus all the time caused her to gain weight. "I turned to food at times because I had nowhere else to get that love," she explained.

Her unhealthy life style was really affecting her stage performance and something had to change. She then found emotional support with in her husband Dean – who also provided her something, more: a workout partner. "We both push each other to be better," she says.

As for her diet; "I usually eat a bowl of oatmeal with agave nectar, dried cherries and walnuts in the morning. I have a protein shake after the gym, then grilled chicken, a whole-wheat pita and humus for lunch," she says.

Come afternoon there's another snack, then, for dinner, "I might have trout with spinach sautéed in garlic and olive oil and a piece of dark chocolate for dessert."

I must say LeAnn has done a lovely job whipping her body into perfect condition; she looks stunning in that bikini.

Have you heard of Apple Cider Vinegar tablets for weight loss? Despite the fact that this diet has been around since the 1970's, I actually had no idea that it even existed until just the other day. The fact that I have never heard of this fad diet prompted me to do some online investigating. After googleing around I found two opposite result types. Those trying to sell the product make several promising claims that ACV is good for blood pressure, cholesterol control, diabetes and weight loss to name a few of the supposed benefits. On the other hand there are many skeptics who challenge these claims because there is absolutely no scientific evidence proving that AVC can aid in weight loss. I'm sensing that AVC is yet another diet scam, aimed to make money off of those desperate to lose weight.

I'll conclude with the wise worlds of Andrew Weil, M.D. ,"If you want to lose weight, forget about apple cider vinegar. Weight loss requires effort and commitment. The only formula you can depend on is eating less and exercising more."

In case you were thinking about trying yoga or if you’re confused about which type of classes to take, iyogalife.com provides direction. Learn the differences between Anusara, Ashtanga, Bikrim and many other yoga styles. Find out what the classes are like and what they will do for you. With the help of this guide you'll discover the perfect yoga class for you!

As for me, I love all yoga but my personal favorite yoga types are Ashtanga and Kundalini. Although they are on opposite ends of the yoga spectrum, each style serves me in a way that the other style can't. When I'm feeling up tight or tired I enjoy practicing Kundalini because it amps me up and puts me in an amazing mood. On the other hand if I'm having a stressful day, if I'm having trouble relaxing and just need to come back down to earth, Ashtanga works wonders.

Click here for the guide  and good luck experiencing the many amazing ways to practice yoga!

To celebrate Earth Day on April 22, Whole Foods Market will eliminate plastic bags from it's 270 stores. Hopefully Whole Foods will set an example for other retailers to help the environment by using less plastic bags.  They're bad for the environment because they are made from petroleum, are typically thrown away after one use, fill landfills and float into trees, rooftops, roadways and oceans. Beginning immediately, each store in the Company will work on depleting stocks of disposable plastic grocery bags at the checkouts and will help raise awareness about the benefits of reusable bags. Over the next three months, stores will reduce plastic grocery bag inventories and increase selections of reusable bags for purchase.

Even if you don't shop at Whole Foods, you can still do your part by reusing your grocery bags.
