Madonna's trainer Tracy Anderson has been known to share lots of great diet and fitness secrets with the general public. I swear to you, this girl knows what she's talking about. I highly encourage you to try Tracy's workout from THIS POST! I've been doing that routine twice a week for almost a year and have benefited fabulously from it. Now the A-list trainer has created a plan to help you safely shed 20 pounds in six weeks.

Here's an example of one day's meal plan:

Breakfast
1 cup Kashi cereal, with ½ cup plain — or vanilla — nonfat rice milk
Lunch
3 oz grilled chicken breast — or fresh turkey breast (no deli meat!) — with ½ cup each of chopped cucumber and tomatoes
Snack
1 cup mixed berries (try raspberries, blackberries and blueberries)
Dinner
1 cup organic pasta with ½ cup steamed spinach

If this sounds good for you, read more of Tracy's weight loss plan HERE!

Unless you've been starving, you should have noticed the cost of food is on the rise. Government figures show that grocery costs have gone up 5.1 percent in 12 months. According to Labor Department figures, eggs alone are up a dramatic 25 percent over last year. Eating healthier seems to becoming more expensive every week. If you're looking for ways to cut down on food costs you may consider buying less meat, eggs and dairy.

With household budgets strained by higher food costs and increased prices at the pump, switching out some of the more-expensive meat protein for cheaper plant protein can help reduce food budgets.

There's also evidence that meat production may be a factor in climate change.

In 2006, the UN's Food and Agriculture Organization said in a report that the ingredients that go into meat, eggs and dairy production -- including fertilizer, feed, transport and processing -- add up to about 18 percent of total greenhouse gas emissions, more than the greenhouse gases produced by the transportation sector.

MARIAH CAREY finds it tough maintaining her fabulous figure because fatty food is fun and dieting is "boring".
The 38-year-old stays in shape thanks to a grueling workout and a restrictive eating regime.
And she admits she pines for something tasty to eat.
She says, "Working out and dieting and eating boring food. I can't go to the barbeque spot."
But she does concede the diet is working, and she feels good when she is fit: "I need to work out more. But the diet thing is what works best for me. But it's good for health. It's good to be healthy, yes? Everybody needs to be how ever they feel best, that's what I think." SOURCE
